The SPARC Nitrogen flow indicator provides extremely low pressure, precision gas flow control for nitrogen purging applications. This is important during the brazing of copper tubing in air conditioning and refrigeration systems. The nitrogen must be flowing to displace the oxygen inside the tubing during the brazing process, thus preventing internal oxidation and the resulting scale. Scale build-up inside the tubing can cause blockage in the TXV and within the air conditioning and refrigeration system. This results in premature failure.
Easy to Read Indicator
SPARC's Nitrogen flow indicator uses a float ball to visually confirm the nitrogen is flowing. This is essential during the brazing of copper tubing in HVAC systems. During this process, a technician is able to first flush the copper lines at 25-35 CFH and then reduce the flow to 3-4 CFH. This process greatly aids in conserving and saving nitrogen. If the ball does not rise in the tube, there is no flow of nitrogen. There is only static pressure. The oxygen is not displacing.
50 PSI Inlet Pressure
The maximum inlet pressure is 50 PSI. This product must connect to a nitrogen regulator with a 1/4" male flare outlet connection (SPARC SP00021 – sold separately). This is to control the nitrogen gas pressure. It is compatible with UNIWELD RHP400, RHP500, RHP750, and similar style regulators as well. SPARC's nitrogen flow indicator has a 0-75CFH flow output at 50 PSI.
Simple Connections
SPARC's Nitrogen Flow indicator has a 1/4" SAE female flare inlet connection, as well as a 1/4" SAE male flare outlet connection.
Safety is a Top Priority
Because SPARC is able to provide extremely low flow with high precision gas control, this nitrogen flow indicator is extremely safe to use. On top of that, an over-pressure safety relief rupture disk has been installed in the product to keep all customers safe.
Lifetime USA Warranty
All of our flow indicators are backed by our LIFETIME USA warranty against manufacturing defects. We are based out of Denver, CO, and offer customer service and support via phone, text, and e-mail.
